Quick Tip

When washing your hair, always use warm (not hot) water. The hot water will cause your follicle to 'open' and thereby making your color wash out faster.

When conditioning, rinse it out with cool water. This closes the follicle trapping in moisture, and making your strands shiner.

  1. The cool water rinse I do but I didnt know about just warm water. Yikes! I love to practically scald myself in the shower. Thanks for the tip. :)

  2. I know sometimes at a salon when I get my hair washed, they use really hot water and the whole time I'm wondering what they are thinking!? They of all people should know better :)
